With a toughened 4 -ply casing and reinforced Apex sidewall the Der Kaiser Projekt DH tyre from Continental is ready for anything you throw it at. A wide tread pattern derived directly from the toughest world cup conditions excels on mixed trail surfaces where the thick lugs bite down hard to eek every bit of grip from the trail. Ramped center line knobs enable all day epics by reducing rolling resistance despite the thick casing and chunky tread. The shoulder knobs work well under pressure hugging corners with constant angled contact. Der Kaisers tread clears loose, wet mud effectively when you encounter it sporadically on the trail; although the Continental Der Baron tyre would be more suited to consistently thick loam or sticky clay like conditions.
