The 2016 Rove ST truly represents the do-all CX bike. Ride in your local CX race, take a weekend bike tour, do that gravel grinder or just ride it however, wherever. The Rove ST has a deserved cult status among discerning riders and represents the perfect blend of off-road sensibilities with timeless design. One of the bikes that helps keep Kona weird.
The Rove receives the same fit as our new CX geometry but with a slightly lower bottom bracket to provide a bit more stability. The bikes are also designed around a slightly larger tire clearance than the CX platform for the road less traveled. The frame borrows a lot of the design cues from the new Sutra and uses the same replaceable hanger and hidden fender eyelets. The fork is also similar and uses a single low rider mount instead of the water-bottle bosses. The new frame and fork is lighter than previous versions and uses a slightly thinner tube set than the Sutra to provide a very smooth and comfortable ride.
