Lazer Tardiz 2 Road Helmet - 2018
The Lazer Tardiz 2 TT Helmet is built for speed; aerodynamics and ventilation are the focus of this striking design. The narrow droplike shape and frontal areas combine with a dimpled rear surface to improve how the air flows over and around the helmet.
Multiple surface treatments combine for increased aerodynamics. The glossy front allows air to flow faster over the helmet with less resistance, air flows through vents from front to back and escapes to then get trapped on a matt dimpled surface. The faster you are going the more the helmet will help pull itself through the air.
When you're racing with your head down, this helmet will actually work better as it is designed to be most aerodynamic in this position. The Tardiz 2 has gone through rigorous testing in wind tunnel facilities to measure aerodynamic performance and improve if possible so you can be sure you are getting a helmet that is both safe and fast.
The Tardiz 2 includes an integrated inclination sensor that monitors your body posture. Once you have found your optimal aerodynamic position and calibrated the helmet, you can receive tactile or acoustic feedback if you are straying from it.
There is no compromise with comfort and the back of the rollsys® system moves up and down to grip the back of the head in the optimal position for your head shape and size. The TS+ system includes a dial to grip a large part of the back of the head to create a comfortable, secure fit.
It's easy to keep cool with the Aquavent system; water from your bottle can be delivered to a ventilation port and this will then be filtered down and around the head, refreshing you instantly. This vent can be replaced with a closed-off version if required.
The revolutionary cappuccino lock that attaches to your helmet straps and locks with a three-digit security code works as a deterrent and keeps your helmet and bike secure when while on quick stops. An optional LED tail light is available that clips into the helmet to increase visibility and improve safety.
