Once the wheel is in the frame, the hub will rotate back and tension the chain. It is that simple. Crank down on the stainless bolts and ride. The 7.5mm offset fixing bolts allow a rotation of 180 degrees for 15mm of travel. Tension is achieved by rotating the axle ends. The hub can be ordered in 32h for frame spacings of 126mm, 130mm or 135mm in black or silver. Can be matched with a WI front hub.
White Industries eccentric ENO line of hubs are made specifically for bikes with vertical dropouts. The majority of bicycle frames made today are made with vertical dropouts, however, converting the frame to a single speed presents the problem of how to tension the chain.
